Abstract:
This research paper explores best practices and emerging trends in Information and Communication Technology (ICT), with a particular emphasis on sustainability, digital trust (focusing on cybersecurity), and innovation. As ICT becomes integral to global connectivity, economic activities, and governance, addressing these pillars is crucial for responsible deployment. Drawing from recent industry reports and standards, this study highlights strategies to mitigate rising energy demands from data centers, escalating costs of cyber threats, and the need for robust R\&D investments. Best practices are informed by international frameworks, offering value for educational institutions, policymakers, and practitioners in fostering efficient, secure, and innovative ICT ecosystems.
